Santa Barbara County Firefighters Benevolent Foundation — All active firefighters, non-safety Department personnel, and their families are eligible to request support.

More than 100 firefighters are killed in the line of duty every year. Our profession is inherently dangerous; therefore we must always be prepared for the unexpected.
In the history of the Santa Barbara County Fire Department eight firefighters have lost their lives in the line of duty.
It is our goal as an organization to support and assist the families of our firefighters during their time of need. The Benevolent Foundation will be there to offer assistance, guidance and compassion.
